Collegiate Scholarships

The Purpose of CCMTA Collegiate Scholarships is to encourage young students to continue the serious study of music in performance and to acknowledge exceptional ability and accomplishment by awarding financial assistance to those pursuing a career in music. In addition to performance, exceptional ability in composition may also be rewarded.

CCMTA Scholarships are open to high school seniors and college students up through age 21 who are students in piano, voice, strings, woodwinds and brass and who are currently studying with an active CCMTA teacher in the category for which they are applying. In addition, the student must intend to major or minor in music at a college, university, or conservatory and attend in the fall of the year they audition. A student may enter more than one category as long as they are currently a student of an active CCMTA teacher in both categories.
